Picture this: The year is 2002. The sun is shining, and in Durban, the first Aluminium Paraflex 2.7m Centre Pole Umbrella is being rented out. Little did anyone know, this simple yet stylish shade would be the seed that sprouted into ABC Hire Cape Town, the event rental company that’s been making waves (and shade) ever since.
Fast forward to 2014, and the magic of ABC Hire found its way to the Mother City. ABC Hire Cape Town was born, bringing a fresh, vibrant energy to events across the Western Cape. We started with just a handful of rental items, but our passion for creating unforgettable experiences saw us grow faster than a beach party on a summer’s day.
And here’s where things get even more exciting—on 1 July 2024, ABC Hire Cape Town spread its wings and became fully independent from our Durban roots. We’re now flying solo and loving every minute of it, with a renewed focus on serving Cape Town’s event scene with everything we’ve got.
